You may be familiar with Steph Arnold’s embroidery kits, produced through her Oh Sew Bootiful brand, but the last two years marks something of a departure for Steph as she discovered thread journalling and created a whole book on the subject…
What initially attracted you to embroidery and needlecrafts?
I’ve been a craft fanatic for as long as I can remember, always making and drawing things since I was tiny.
I always picked creative subjects at school and further education; Art, Woodwork, Ceramics – and went on to study Photography then a degree in Product Design.
I startedme down and give me peace while I was working on a project but it was during this time that I discovered embroidery. It was love at first stitch and I found it so therapeutic.
