One of my favourite shows from 2022 was The Afterparty, so I was thrilled to see it back for a second season. For those who aren’t familiar with this Apple TV+ whodunnit, each episode explores a different character’s account of one fateful evening, all told through the lens of popular film genres and unique visuals to match the storyteller’s perspective.
Season 1 took us to the high-school reunion of Aniq (Sam Richardson) and Zoë (Zoe Chao), and in Season 2 a wedding is ruined when the groom is murdered – and every guest is a suspect. Detective Danner (Tiffany Haddish) returns to help Aniq and Zoë solve the case
