Becomes a billionaire on back of global tour
Pop megastar Taylor Swift has achieved billionaire status thanks to her record-breaking Eras Tour.
According to a new report by Bloomberg, which estimated the value of her multiple Grammy Award-winning music catalogue, five homes and earnings from streaming deals, music sales, concert tickets and merchandise, the singer-songwriter’s net worth has now surpassed $1bn (£824m).
Taylor, 33, joins the prestigious ten-digit club alongside fellow billionaires including Kim Kardashian and Oprah Winfrey.
