The weather for the last couple of months here in Martinborough has been wild and windy at times, so heading away in the motorhome (RocknRobyn) hasn’t been on the cards very often. However, a very important grandson’s fifth birthday saw us pack up and hit the road to Tauranga.
The day we left was an absolute stunner weather-wise. We headed up to Woodville, over the Saddleback and took the back road from Ashurst to Cheltenham where we would normally have turned left to end up on State Highway 1 between Hunterville and Mangaweka.
