THE GREEN FINS CODE OF CONDUCT

The Green Fins Code of Conduct is the only internationally-recognised environmental standard for marine tourism. To protect fragile marine ecosystems, Green Fins members and marine tourism operators who care about the environment have to commit to the following 15 environmental practices, including being role models for guests; organising beach and underwater cleanups; prohibiting the sale and display of corals, shells and marine life; disposing of waste properly, abiding by all local, regional and international environmental regulations; and providing training and information on good environmental practices for all marine tourism activities.
