You could call Saltsea Chronicles a post-apocalyptic story. To many of us that means something with zombies, military regimes, and ruins. But in this world people have rebuilt after disaster, and found a way out of the ‘Great Expansion’ (a time of unprecedented greed) and learned to live on small patches of land.
