It’s long been accepted that the scooter scene in Britain originated in the 1950s and has continued to evolve ever since that time. However, in other countries this progression occurred much later, although most have, to some degree, been influenced by British scooterist culture. Among the largest scenes in the world is that in Germany and although it’s developed a very distinctive style its origins are shared with that of the modern UK scene.
