Commentary: What kind of seafood is morally ethical to eat?

Do you like cod, shrimp, salmon, crab or pollock (also known as fish sticks)? Of course you do. Do you shop at Walmart, Costco, Kroger or Albertsons for fish? Who doesn’t? Do you eat at one of the more than 400,000 restaurants supplied by food distributor Sysco? Almost certainly.

If so, you’ve likely been served or sold seafood caught by Indonesian in the United States is imported, according to the latest data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. China alone supplies of American seafood imports.
