KING REMNANT

Harley Goff, of Mankato, Minnesota, sent us a note about an interesting find he made in an old creek bed while excavating his property. Among the many Minnesota license plates dating back to the World War I era, he dug up this partially nickel-plated emblem. Harley initially thoughtproduction runs for about a dozen years. About 3,000 were produced at the height of the company’s popularity, at which time King cars were exported as far away as Russia and South America.
