BLEND A MIXED-STYLE JUICE STAND SCENE

Being a video games artist, I always have an interest in exploring new, different artistic styles. I grew up watching animated films from Studio Ghibli and have always been a big fan of their vibrant and detailed handdrawn art style. In this juice stand scene I tried to combine my own stylised artwork with the Ghibli look, creating a Ghibli-esque environment while maintaining the juice stand in a rather more traditional game art style.

As always for my environment art, I rendered the scene using different lighting to show how it looks in both day and night-time. Finally, I decided to animate it to make it even closer to the Ghibli vibe. With the animation, I wanted to convey a sense of loneliness with a touch of warmth.
