HOMEOPATHY IS A real 'Marmite' subject. It has been around for more than 200 years and over that time has attracted an army of supporters, including King Charles III, David Beckham and Friends actress Jennifer Aniston. However, it also has its detractors, including the NHS, which stopped paying for homeopathic treatments in 2017, describing them as having "low clinical effectiveness".

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons also states that it doesn't believe homeopathy has "a recognised body of evidence or is based on sound scientific principles and so should be regarded as a complementary treatment only".
