ACCESS, access, access. Earlier this year I had the good fortune to gain access to a red deer block that was quite close to home. The owner ran cattle and had a fairly active presence of wild dogs. Having pursued wild dogs locally over the past few years I had gradually increased my reputation as being effective and trustworthy, which played a vital role in gaining access to country to hunt.
