Kia’s fourth generation Sorento seven-seater SUV kicks off at $47,650 for the 200kW 3.5-litre V6 petrol/eight-speed automatic/front wheel drive S model. Sport is $50,270, Sport Plus is $54,850 and GT Line is $62,070.

A 148kW 2.2-litre four cylinder turbodiesel is paired with a dual clutch eight-speed transmission and all-wheel drive in the same model grades: S, at $50,650; Sport at $53,270; Sport Plus at $57,850 (tested here) and GT Line at $65,070.
