GREEN TEA

Flavoured or plain, hot or iced, green tea is an antioxidant powerhouse, and may help to fight inflammation and the oxidative stress that ultimately leads to premature ageing. Green tea is produceda higher concentration of plant antioxidants (polyphenols) than other tea varieties. These polyphenols, along with other antioxidants called catechins, may help to protect the skin from UV rays. According to America's University of Maryland Medical Center, two to three cups of green tea (depending on the brand) per day (for a total of 240mg to 320mg polyphenols) is adequate to reap the benefits of this much-loved health drink.
