Did any arcade game developer in the ’90s manage a better runand In its pomp, Sega was resetting the technology bar with each new release – and not just for arcade entertainment, but for videogames as a whole. That iteration of the company is just a blue-skied memory, though, and nowadays Sega’s arcade productions aren’t necessarily even the result of in-house R&D efforts. is the latest thirdparty example, coming from Hong Kong’s 3MindWave, which previously made another Sega-badged racer, It ticks many of the boxes expected from today’s arcade racers, with a 65” screen, forcefeedback steering and cabinet motion, all wrapped up with UE5-powered visuals, but the promise of an ‘Aero-Drift’ – a temporary mechanic which switches your vehicle to hover mode – does feel somewhat novel. Track down the game in its current location-test form to see if it’s just a gimmick or something more than that.
