Shamanism

Also known as samanism, this involves a practitioner guiding you, often through altered states of consciousness like trance and meditation, to connect with spiritual energies that can help heal you mentally, spiritually and even physically. It’s now the fastest-growing belief system in the country*.

Similar to a life coach, shaman Denise Damijo (thehealersrealm podcast.com) works with women who feel ‘stuck in a rut’ and want more from their lives, using shamanic meditations, vibrations, and healing songs to help them get there. Describing herself as a ‘seer’ and ‘activator’, women use her sessions to help them realise things about themselves that perhaps they weren’t aware of before, allowing them to connect with ancestral bloodlines. ‘Shamanism can help you get a bigger idea of what your life can potentially be,’ explains Denise.

Celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Selma Blair have spoken about the benefits, and a quick Google will lead you
