According to Horticulture magazine, Brits spent £6.1 billion on plants in 2022 with nearly half - 46 per cent - bringing a new one home that year.

Lockdown was an obvious catalyst, but four years on the trend is still going strong. Plants are the new status symbol, a way to convey your clean-cut wholesomeness to the world - and if you don't believe us, just count how many monsteras you can see on your newsfeed right now.
