These days drones are very much a part of every-day life, and it’s amazing to think that it was only a little over 10 years ago that Chinese company DJI launched their first consumer flying camera drone – the Phantom. Up until that point, aerial photography was something for the elite, usually involving expensive helicopters or small plane flights, and so when a highly affordable flying camera came on the market it was truly a game-changer.
