We keep things traditional in my house on Shrove Tuesday. I don’t think lemon and sugar on thin, soft, buttery crêpes can be bettered, so that’s what we’ll be eating in the evening. But around this time I always host a decadent, pancake-themed weekend brunch for friends, where I like to get a bit more creative with the offering, serve a cocktail and coffee, and make a fun, relaxed morning of it.
