Number of road incidents down, but driver naivety remains a concern, warns BHS

Fewer road incidents were reported to the British Horse Society (BHS) last year, according to the charity's recently released statistics. A total of 3,383 incidents were reported in 2023, which is 169 fewer than in 2022 when 3,552 were logged. The charity also reported that three people died and 94 were injured due to a road incident in 2023 — down from 139 people injured in 2022. A
