yore have returned to the fray to reclaim their rightful throne like Cirith Ungol. Their original releases are revered by fans of doom and power metal alike, but the material they’ve released since being mysteriously raised from the dead has seen them on fine, fiery form. Case in point: last year’s majesticwhich stands before us encased in much heraldic finery (i.e. a nice, embossed slipcase). Alongside the album proper, the band bestow upon us an LP’s worth of demos, a print featuring the work of esteemed fantasy artist Michael Whelan, two posters, and a tote bag bearing the band’s distinguished crest. As you’d expect, such rare treasure will not be easily found –only 1,000 pieces have been hewn, and have since been scattered across distant realms. Go seek, brave warriors –let this be thy quest!
