Ask anybody that knows me, and they will tell you I am an avid trapper. My trapping does not last just the few months that I can have traps in the ground, it is something that I work on all year long.

During the off-season I spend time finding new land to trap, preparing equipment, purchasing equipment, scouting ground, etc. When trapping season starts I spend 10 to 14 hours a day, every day of the season running my trapline and putting up fur. I am still young in my eyes, and I do not expect anything to slow me down or get me off the trapline until the last day of the season arrives and the last trap is pulled.

This past trapping season started off as it normally does. I was catching raccoons at a rate that it was going to be a good year as a trapper, as long as the prices came up
