WHEN OUR FAMILY OF SEVEN prepared to move to South Korea as missionaries, we got rid of everything we owned, other than what would fit in a action figures and prized baseball cards. Boxes of our daughters’ dolls. My husband’s motorbike. Every stick of furniture. All of it priced to sell for pennies on the dollar and carted outside for a huge moving sale.
