Pull Up A Chair

Give dated dining chairs a glow-up in a rainbow of hues. For each chair, flip over and remove the seat. Use needle-nose pliers to pull out the staples and strip away old fabric. If the padding is worn, replace with new batting or thin foam, then trace and cut upholstery-weight fabric about 10cm wider than the seat on all sides. Wrap fabric around one side and secure with several staples, using a heavy-duty staple gun. Pull fabric taut around the opposite side and staple. Repeat on other sides. Neatly fold taut fabric at each corner and staple. Prep your chair frame, then paint to suit. Let dry, then reattach the seat.
