I think about a lot of ambient matter while barrelling down life’s adventure highway.
So there I was, romping home from Adventure Moto’s The Dirty Weekend at Green Valley Farm in northern NSW, Yamaha’s new World Raid purring contentedly beneath me and the Darcinator nipping at my heels. Yet the mind starts wandering and I somehow find myself pondering what wise words might be carved upon my tombstone. Yeah, really.
“Here lies Clubby, the bloke who didn’t give Adam Riemann his start in moto media.”
Now, why the hell would I be thinking that?
Like myself, Adam had been a special guest at The Dirty Weekend, and had ridden from Wisemans Ferry to the event with a posse of participants. And yes, he was aboard a bike that has recently become an unlikely yet absolute star
