Hilary Fyfe's site includes biographies of the 29 men listed on the memorial, of whom 24 died in the First World War – Alfred Price, Daniel Shaw, Duncan Scott, Edward Denny, Ernest Tibble, George McIntosh, George Murdoch, George Wales, James Malcolm, John Hyslop, John Milne, Joseph Harrison, Michael Anderson, Peter Culligan, Robert Murdoch, Thomas McFarlane, William Crawford, James Campbell, John Muir, Joseph Griffiths, James Kirk, Harry Harrower, Humphrey McFarlane and Daniel Boyle. The other five died in the Second World War: Gabriel Ritchie, John Blaikie, Roderick Devlin, Archibald Stewart and Thomas Evans. If you have any information about any of these men, please share it on the website's forum.
