The nose is nicely fruity and offers a certain concentration, gourmandise as well as a certain pulpiness. The wine benefits from being decanted. It reveals notes of pulpy black cherry, pulpy/quite ripe cassis and small notes of ripe wild strawberry associated with touches of roasted fruit, liquorice as well as hints of violet, blond tobacco, a hint of mocha and an imperceptible hint of black pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, fresh and offers lovely energy, a certain brightness, fruit, roundness, precision as well as a beautiful tangy structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright cherry and small notes of cassis associated with touches of juicy-roasted red berries, hints of toast, mocha as well as fine almost balsamic hints, nutmeg and spices. Good length. Chewy/ gourmand finish/persistence.

There are notes of bright boysenberry, bright cassis and small notes of small juicy roasted red fruits associated with touches of star anise as well as a discreet sappy hint and a delicate almost vanilla hint. The palate is fresh, fruity, juicy and offers pulpiness, roundness as well as a gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, roasted/ gourmand small fruits and small notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry associated with touches of chocolate, almond and a subtle hint of vanilla. Tannins are gourmand and mellow. A gourmand wine.

The palate is fruity and offers minerality, juiciness, a tangy structure, a good definition, precision, tension, dynamism, freshness as well as a beautiful energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of small juicy/pulpy red berries, tangy/juicy cassis and small notes of small creamy red fruits associated with touches of minerality/ acidity, crunchy cherry as well as hints of spices and roasting/cocoa. Tannins are soft. A fine chew on the finish/persistence

It reveals notes of pulpy/bright cassis, black blackberry and small notes of small juicy roasted fruits associated with touches of cardamom, liquorice stick, morello cherry as well as a discreet hint of plum blossom and star anise/iris. The palate offers juiciness, a nice minerality, intensity, a small infusion/darkness side (but in elegance), precision, a beautiful energy as well as a nice frank, fine, powerful and airy grain. The attack offers superb freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of morello cherry, juicy/pulpy blackberry and small notes of quite ripe/bright small fruits associated with a touch of roasted fruit, star anise, discreet hints of racy minerality as well as a subtle sappy and toasty hint. Tannins are frank and offer a small chew. The finish is easy-to-drink and sapid.

The nose is fruity, elegant, intense and offers a lovely aromatic palette, precision as well as deepness. We find notes of morello cherry, violet and small notes of bright cassis associated with touches of small juicy roasted red fruits as well as delicate hints of lilac, sweet spices and a subtle hint of blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers precision, a mineral/tangy frame, a good definition, precision, tension, a great energy as well as deepness. Nicely on the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ pulpy cassis, bright morello cherry and small notes of violet associated with touches of bright redcurrants as well as hints of cornflower, nutmeg, a subtle hint of star anise and a very discreet, almost sappy hint (in the background). Tannins are sapid and elegant. Good length. Beautiful freshness and energy.

It reveals notes of ripe cassis, bright strawberry and small notes of small pulpy/fleshy red fruits associated with touches of cherry blossom, gray pepper as well as a discreet hint of fresh nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a tangy structure, minerality, precision, tension as well as good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, tangy/pulpy strawberry and small notes of crushed cherry associated with touches of tangy plum as well as hints of nutmeg and toasted almond. Tannins are supple, suave and sapid. Good length. Presence of a discreet hint of good bitterness on the persistence/finish.

On the palate this wine expresses notes of boysenberry, juicy/pulpy purple plum and small notes of tangy/bright redcurrants associated with touches of flowers as well as fine hints of sweet spices and blond tobacco. Tannins are frank, precise and structured.
