UNIQUE BR 8P Pacific No. 71000 Duke of Gloucester is to be based at Crewe under a new 10-year operating agreement signed with the Royal Scot Locomotive & General Trust.
Once its current overhaul at Tyseley Locomotive Works is completed in June or July, the agreement with the BR Class 8 Steam Locomotive Trust will see No. 71000 initially
