THAT’S THE SPIRIT

As a longtime bourbon aficionado and “armchair expert,” I thoroughly enjoyed your February/March 2024 issue. I especially liked the piece on bourbon bars (“Bourbon’s Finest Hour”). I’ve had the opportunity to visit many bourbon bars and distilleries, and I was pleased to see two Virginia entries on the list. However, you missed one: Right here in Richmond is McCormack’s Big Whisky Grill, which stocks what has to be the largest collection of brown liquor in the state and has an owner who really knows his stuff and a killer menu to boot. It deserves a spot on your best-of list.
