But in the 1970s and 80s, Evril LeBaron was the leader of a very different kind of church.

He founded the Church of the Lamb of God.

After a fall out with his older brother Joel – who ran his own Mormon sect – in 1972, Evril set out on his own.

And from here, he took his religious beliefs to the extreme.

Hailing himself asdecade tried to have his younger brother Verlan killed, too.
