THE Coliseum Suite in Ilford was packed for the London NAC finals and they saw Connor Mitchell announce himself as a contender for the featherweight championship - before injury later ruled him out of going any further.
The 19-year-old from (Islington) was beaten in the 2019 flyweight final by Hamza Mehmood and took the fight to Mitchell at the opening bell. From around the midway point in the opener, Mitchell, who won the NABGC title in November, started to beat Daly to the punch with right-lefts from his southpaw stance and back him up.
