Golf is one of the most popular hobbies for elite sports stars from other disciplines. It’s not uncommon to see international cricketers, rugby players and footballers take to the golf course when they’re on tours or training camps as a way to get away from the pressures of their day jobs. Harry Kane is no stranger to that. The England men’s football captain, all-time top goal scorer and now Bayern Munich striker has been an invested golfer since his late teens and even got down to scratch a few years ago, all while becoming Tottenham Hotspur’s all-time leading goal scorer and guiding England to a European Championship final in 2021.
Since his move to Germany last summer, Kane has been busy securing new sponsorship deals away from the football pitch and Reflo, an emerging name focused on being the most sustainable apparel brand in the market, seemed like a perfect fit for both parties. A chance meeting at the Icons Series event in New York in 2022 put Reflo on Kane’s radar and now, less than two years later, England’s captain is an ambassador and seed investor in one of golf’s newest names.
