DOUBLING UP

BEN WHITTAKER may have an eye on what happens at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham on Friday night. Errol Johnson promotes a show that features two Midlands Area title fights, including Michael Stephenson defending his 175lbs belt against 43-year-old Gyvon Henry.

Whittaker called for a fight with Stephenson (Bedford) on social media last year and promoters Boxxer made enquiries on his behalf. The fight could still happen, depending on what happens on Friday night.
