My project

W hen touring in our 'van, we avoid busy campsites, as we're not looking for facilities other than fresh water and waste disposal.

If, like us, you aren't too keen on parking in rows with other campers, you might find you want to make changes to your 'van to achieve this.

Soon after buying our new Bürstner campervan in 2021, my wife and I found we wanted to improve it to suit our style of touring. It quickly became clear to us that generally manufacturers provide 'vans that are intended to be used between campsites where electric hook-up is available.
