MF 550 assessment

One of my tractors that has received the least attention over the years has been my Massey Ferguson 550. The tractor was first purchased in 2007, having been traded in by its former owner.

Originally, the tractor was supplied new by Arter Brothers of Barham to Canterbury College and bears a Canterbury Borough registration number, rather than a Maidstone-issued Kent number. Its early life was relatively sedate life, as it was based at the college’s horticultural unit on the edge of the city.
