The sticking point? Miraval, that glorious slice of country paradise in France where grapes grow plump on the vine and a sprawling chateau presides over sun-drenched lands.

It was once the scene of so much happiness, a place where the children frolicked and their parents wed in a time when love was still alive and we all dared to dream of happily ever after.
