House matters

FURTHER to Eleanor Doughty’s excellent article on the 10 most popular house names, may I submit One’s Cottage for consideration for the top of the list (‘My kingdom for The)? Fifteen years ago, we lived in Virginia Water with a mortgage on par with the National Debt. Facing retirement O.A.P. (Old and Poor), we moved to north Cambridgeshire and refurbished a Grade II-listed cottage (about 1715). We named it ‘One’s Cottage’ ().
