IT’S LIKE she’s everywhere at the moment – on practically every streaming service, on the big screen, on the red carpet, on talk shows.
In the past year alone she’s been in five movies and she’s regarded as one of the breakout stars of her generation.
But it’s Sydney Sweeney’s latest film, Anyone but You, that’s really had people talking. The sexy romance raked in more than $200 million (R3,8 billion) at the box office, making it the highest-grossing romcom since Bridget Jones’ Baby in 2016.
It’s another feather in the cap for the 26-year-old, who people first started noticing when she played troubled teen Cassie Howard in the hit TV series Euphoria.
Yet not everyone is a fan.
