IN LAST MONTH'S column I was describing the excellent Newark Show before finishing on breeding progress in my own aviaries. At that stage, my breeding hen lutino Indian ringnecked parakeet was out of the nest-box again, which was rather concerning. I had seen her the previous day and I was worried that she had left her eggs.
On further investigation, I decided the right action was to haveThey did indeed both turn out to be albinos and are now well feathered.
