I was invited to ride the Harley-Davidson X350 and X500 on what turned out to be an unseasonably chilly and wet February day. Undeterred, we set off, and it gave me (a perpetually cold female) the chance to test the windchill factor of the naked machines.
I swung my leg over the X500 first, a decision made purely on the fact this bike has classic mid-mounted foot controls, as opposed to the X350's sportier riding position.
