Portrait of a Queen

Wearing deep green with a miniature portrait of her husband pinned to her dress, Queen Mary of Denmark proudly wore the Emerald Crown Jewels for the first time in the official gala portrait with King Frederick. With the couple wearing the Order of the Elephant on chains and taken at the palace in Copenhagen, the portrait was released to mark the succession in January as Their Majesties embark upon their reign.
