FORGET ALL THOSE UFO WHISTLEBLOWERS and their tantalising stories of alien visitations. It turns out humanity’s first contact with extraterrestrials actually took place three decades ago – on-screen at least. Landing in 1993, Coneheads finally gave Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin’s classic Saturday Night Live comedy sketch the big-screen treatment more than 25 years after the characters first appeared on American TV.

The movie followed Beldar (Aykroyd) and Prymaat (Curtin), a Conehead couple from the distant planet Remulak who accidentally get stranded on Earth.
