I was vomiting the whole day and night for weeks but, subsequently, my yearly appointment with my endocrinologist was coming up. I went to see him, and he put me on all sorts of strong meds after taking bloods because my hormones were so “off balance”. Weeks after being on this medication, I was still unwell and, after everyone teased me and joked about me being pregnant, I took a pregnancy test. Much to my surprise, it was positive!
