Strolling along the gorgeous beach, I could feel the familiar, grainy sensation of the sand between my toes.
It was a beautiful Valentine’s evening in 2017, and me and my partner Jason, then 30, were celebrating our love.
After a scrumptious meal out at a local restaurant, we decided to finish the night with a stroll along the beach.
‘It’s so beautiful here,’ I said as we strolled along.
Only, Jason suddenly stopped walking beside me.
And turning around, I realised that he’d dropped down onto one knee.
Then, it suddenly clicked with me what was going on – the penny dropped and I started to squeal.
‘Sian, will you…’ Jason began.
And before he could even finish speaking, I’d already made my decision.
‘Yes, of course I will!’ I exclaimed, cuddling him.
That moment was so magical – I knew I’d truly found my soulmate, and I couldn’t wait to marry him.
So far, our relationship had been a bit of a whirlwind – meeting on
