Weather a Big Boy

Getting Practical ALL SKILL LEVELS

ALTHOUGH I model the British railway scene, I cannot help but admire the large American steam locomotives such as the Union Pacific Big Boy. I have a model of the latter that I built about 15 years ago and although it is mounted on a plinth, I've never got around to weathering it until now.

There are several models of the Big Boy around, but the cheapest way to get one is to build the Revell kit. It has some limitations, there is no brake
