Fix it… Farewell TO SHOWJUMPING FAULTS

THERE ARE PLENTY of exercises to do at home that will help to improve the quality of a horse's jump, but there are many other things that riders can do, too, to avoid careless pole knocks, which are the bane of many in the showjumping arena. Firstly, check that tack fits correctly and that the horse is wearing the right bit. Could it be too strong, making him tuck his nose in too much? If his neck is short and tight he can't use himself properly. If he has his nose out, he can use his body and back more effectively over a fence.
