Fears of mpox outbreak as elections approach

public warning

AS the past week saw authorities warn the public to remain on high alert after a case of mpox was identified in Gauteng, conspiracy theories hold that it spells doom for the upcoming elections.

This after the Department of Health reported that a 35 year-old man from Gauteng had tested positive for the viral infection.

The case follows previous reports of the high infectious disease
