Making the right impact

It’s good news for everybody that ‘sustainable travel’ has become the most talked-about term in the industry. However, far from being a new concept, it’s a label that brings together some time-tested ideas we’ve been writing about, in countless forms, for decades: eco-tourism, responsible travel, conscious travel…

Put simply: it’s about caring for the impact that we have when we (p40). It’s only by becoming more familiar with these concepts that we can learn to tell the difference.
