Controlling the quality

While conducting some research into Lambretta history recently, something cropped up that I’d never previously considered; the contemporary use of aftermarket spares by authorised dealers. It must be remembered that this was at the time of full Lambretta production, when any part was readily available from the factory. Using aftermarket spares or those not made by Innocenti was technically banned, rendering the warranty of a new machine void.
