Most Memorable Roll-Search Finds

Do you search rolls of coins looking for additions to your collection? Are you trying to find errors either to collect or to sell? Do you, perhaps, look through half dollar rolls in the hope of finding some silver coins, either 90 percent or 40 percent? If you do any roll searching, this column is for you.

Recently, I asked the following question on the Coin Talk forum: “What’s your most memorable find while roll searching?” To start the string, I gave a couple of examples from my early (late 1950s, early 1960s) roll searching.
